Article 1 (Purpose and Changes to These Terms)
① These Terms set out the rights and obligations of the Stocky operating team (the "Operator") and users regarding the use of the Stocky service (the "Service") provided by the Operator.
② These Terms are posted in the app's Settings and on the web at https://stocky.studio/terms. An English translation is available at https://stocky.studio/en/terms.
③ The Operator may revise these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. When revising, the Operator will announce the effective date and the reasons at least 7 days before the effective date, or at least 30 days before for changes unfavorable to users. If you continue to use the Service after the effective date, you will be deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you may terminate this agreement by deleting your account.
Article 2 (Nature of the Service)
① The Service is an educational information service intended to help users learn about finance and economics.
② No content provided by the Service is advice on the value of financial investment products or advice on investment decisions (decisions about the type of financial investment product, specific securities, acquisition or disposal, and the method, quantity, price, and timing of acquisition or disposal), and no content is a recommendation to buy or sell any specific security.
③ The Operator is not an investment advisory business or a quasi-investment advisory business under the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act of the Republic of Korea.
④ The Service's content is provided identically to all users and is not tailored to any individual user at any particular time or in any particular situation. The Operator does not provide personalized advice that takes into account an individual user's investment objectives, financial situation, investment experience, or similar factors.
⑤ You alone are responsible for your final investment decisions and their consequences.
Article 3 (Accounts)
① You sign up through social login (Google or Apple). The agreement for use is formed when you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
② The Service is available only to users aged 14 or older. If the Operator learns that a user under 14 has signed up, the Operator will terminate the agreement and delete the related information.
③ You may not transfer or lend your account to anyone else. If you learn that your account has been used without permission, you must notify the Operator immediately.
④ You may delete your account at any time in the app's Settings. When you delete your account, your personal information is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Article 4 (Provision of and Changes to the Service)
① The Operator may change the content and features of the Service or discontinue part of it. The Operator will give advance notice of changes that significantly affect users.
② The Service may be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance, natural disasters, communication failures, interruption by external data providers, or similar reasons.
Article 5 (Content and Use of AI)
① A substantial portion of the Service's content (including issue explanations, company analyses, market briefings, magazines, and chatbot responses) is generated by artificial intelligence (AI) and may contain inaccurate or untrue information.
② Data such as prices, financial information, and news is collected from external providers and may not be real-time. The Operator does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Content reflects the time it was written and may not reflect later market conditions.
③ The AI chatbot is a learning tool to help you understand financial and economic concepts. The chatbot does not answer questions about personal investment decisions, such as your holdings, investment amounts, or when to buy or sell, and you may not ask the chatbot to provide such answers.
④ Learning activities in the Service, such as price-direction prediction quizzes, are educational games, and no money or other economic benefit is provided based on their results.
Article 6 (Fees and Advertising)
① The Service is currently provided free of charge and may include advertising.
② If paid features are introduced, the Operator will announce their details and fees in advance and obtain your separate consent. Use of paid features by minors requires the consent of a legal guardian, and payments made without such consent may be canceled in accordance with applicable law.
Article 7 (Intellectual Property)
① Intellectual property rights in the Service and in content created by the Operator belong to the Operator. Rights in third-party content, such as news articles, belong to their respective owners.
② You may use content within the scope of personal learning. You may not copy, distribute, transmit, or commercially use content without the Operator's prior consent.
Article 8 (User Obligations and Restrictions on Use)
① You must not:
- Use another person's account or register false information
- Access or collect the Service or its data using crawlers, bots, or other automated means
- Copy or redistribute content without permission, or use it for investment-related business (such as paid membership information services)
- Reverse engineer the Service, or interfere with the normal operation of its servers or network
- Violate applicable laws or public order and morals, or infringe the rights of third parties
② If you violate paragraph 1, the Operator may restrict your use of the Service in stages: a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent suspension. Serious violations may result in immediate permanent suspension. The Operator will notify you of the reason and duration of any restriction, and you may file an objection using the contact in Article 10.
Article 9 (Limitation of Liability)
① The Operator is not responsible for the results of any investment or other decision you make with reference to the Service's content.
② The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content. Content is provided "as is."
③ For damages arising in connection with the Service, which is provided free of charge, the Operator is not liable unless it acted intentionally or with gross negligence. The same applies to damages caused by force majeure such as natural disasters, by reasons attributable to the user, or by errors of external data providers.
Article 10 (Dispute Resolution and Contact)
① These Terms and any disputes regarding use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If a dispute arises, the Operator and the user will negotiate in good faith. If no agreement is reached, either party may file a lawsuit with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
